Lincoln International Academy is a Catholic college preparatory school for grades Pk2-12 located in Managua, Nicaragua. The school’s mission is to assist our students in their formation as leaders through a program of rigorous college preparation. The school seeks to hire and retain employees who are skilled in their field, involved participants in the school community, active in their faith, and enthusiastically dedicated to carrying out the mission of the school. Applicants should have an ability to relate to and work well with others, possess excellent writing, communication, organizational and leadership skills, and have strong proficiency with computers and technology.
Faculty Requirements:
Minimum teaching requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in the subject area and/or a valid teaching certification.

At least two years of successful teaching experience.

A clear criminal background check.

Master’s Degree preferred or willing to enroll at Framingham State University MEd (available at the school –online/on site-, as a benefit for recruited faculty members).

In addition to being a full-time member of the teaching faculty, duties include participation in an ongoing teacher formation program, assisting in the daily needs of the school community, and moderating or assisting in at least one extracurricular program offered by the school. US Citizens:
If you are a US citizen and you are hired, in order to get a working permit in Nicaragua you will need to bring the following documents authenticated by a county clerk or state office and then by a Nicaraguan consulate in the US:

police record;

Health certificate;

Birth certificate;

Diplomas.
The school will pay all legal costs in Nicaragua for your working residency (translation, legal cost, a fee for residency Id), but you must bring the above documents authenticated documents from your home country (those expenses will not be covered by school).
