Welcome to Elementary
Dear Elementary School Parents/Students:
I am looking forward to working with you to guide our students through a year full of adventure and learning. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the amazing and committed Elementary School staff at Lincoln International Academy. Together we will ensure continuous learning and growth for our number one priority: our children/students.
My philosophy of teaching is that every student can learn and accomplish whatever they set their minds to. As former U.S. first lady, Claudia Alta Taylor (Lady Bird Johnson) said: ¨Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them¨. As teachers our duty is to foster and encourage the love for learning. As principal, it is to guide and support our teachers to engage, support and challenge each student, encouraging them to excel.
I agree with Aristotle who said: “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”. Our Mission at Lincoln is to educate the student as a whole by providing multiple opportunities to reach their maximum intellectual capacity, supporting their creativity while enhancing their conceptual and analytic thinking, and guiding them to become honorable citizens as we continue to provide Academic Excellence in the Catholic Tradition, with emphasis in character, integrity, values and virtues.
And as Pope Francis said: ¨The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful. And this occurs through a rich path made up of many ingredients. This is why there are so many subjects — because development is the results of different elements that act together and stimulate intelligence, knowledge, the emotions, the body, and so on.”

Greetings and Blessings,
